NO TALKS ABOUT THIRD FRONT DURING MEETING WITH MULAYAM-SUKHBIR

Bundala (Jalandhar), September 23: Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal, Punjab Deputy Chief Miniter and President Shiromani Akali Dal today clarified that there was no talks about third front during his meeting with Samajwadi Party President Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav yesterday at Delhi. 

          Answering the queries of media persons after a function held here today to pay tributes to CPI (M) stalwart Comrade Harkishan singh surjit, SAD President said that nothing political should be read between Mr. Yadav meeting him yesterday as his family has old relations with Mr. Yadav and Chautala family and we keep on meeting on various social occasions exchanging our notes.

          Mr. Badal reiterated that there was no question of third front in the present political scenario as only NDA would form the next Government in Center after Lok Sabha elections whenever they are held. Mr. Badal said that peoples of this country have already made their mind to kick out the most corrupt Government and bring back NDA to power.

          The SAD President said that with UPA-II on ventilator, early elections were inevitable. He said that this government was living borrowed time with various political parties supplying oxygen cylinders to a government that was in a critical condition in ICU. He clarified that opposition of SAD to FDI was known to everyone as UPA has taken this decision to help a few multinational companies at the cost of 120 crore poor citizens of the India.
         
          Paying rich tributes to HS Surjit, Mr. Badal recalled his valueable contribution especially during coalition era of Indian politics. He said that people of this country would continue to cherish the memories of veteran political leader, who was a living example of simplicity and straight forwardness.

          Announcing the grant of Rs. 5 Lakh for the development, Mr. Badal announced that village school would be named after Mr. Harkishan Singh Surjit.
