- 3rd World Cup Kabaddi Punjab-2012
Chandigarh, November 29: The participating teams started
arriving for 3rd World Cup Kabaddi Punjab -2012 being organized from
December 1 to 15 at 13 different venues of the state with the
landing of Iran,
Kenya and New Zealand teams and 8 more teams namely Denmark, Norway, Scotland,
England ( Men & Women ), Italy and Afghanistan are on the way and will
report by tomorrow.
Disclosing this here today a spokesman of State Sports
department said that meanwhile final schedule of the matches has been released.

Note:-
(1) All
the matches both in Men & Women section will be played on league-cum- knock
out basis. In Men Section top one team of each
pool will qualify for Semi Finals (Knock out stage) and in Women Section top 2 teams of
each pool will qualify for Semi Finals.
(2) Teams shall report to the officials
one hour before the start of the match.
(3) Matches will be played as per latest
rules of the game.
(4) Schedule can be changed due to reasons
beyond the control of the organizers.
